Mathematical Development Specialist

Job description

• Research and analyze the framework of knowledge and skills under the Mathematical Education Program 2018;

• Participate in the training sessions of Khan Academy and academic experts on how to use content building tools and skills;

• Building and producing new contents on schedule, including the script of lecture videos, writing theory reading and practicing math practice questions in Vietnamese, ensuring that in accordance with the 2018 general education program of Vietnam and the content production rules of Khan Academy;

• Review content production process, how to use tools and skills to build content for collaborators;

• Review and suggestions for editing math content in Vietnamese by collaborators;

• Coordinate with translators to translate new content produced from Vietnamese into English and put content into the system;

• Take the steps to review, update and adjust the content when necessary and when there is a response from the user to ensure the content of Mathematics has consistent quality, meeting the needs of students and teachers;

• Actively coordinate with the content development team of Khan Academy, Khan Academy Vietnam and experts in the field of math to ensure effective work;

• Proactively research and update new information about the Mathematical Mathematics program for yourself and talk to other members in the group. Contribute ideas for strategic and long -term orientation in terms of content development;

• Support training activities, develop professional documents on general education programs Maths and math content on Khan Academy for the community of teachers using the platform;

• Perform other professional tasks at the request of the management level.

Job requirements

• Graduated with a bachelor's degree or a master's degree in Math, theory and method of teaching Math or Mathematics;

• Having experience in teaching, developing a lecture plan and developing the content of Mathematics at elementary, junior high school or high school according to the 2018 continuous general education program for at least 1 year;

• Ability to communicate and write Vietnamese fluently. Ability to communicate and write good English (because the work will need to talk to the ACADEM US ACADEM);

• Can ensure handling of work volume of stable and consistent content in quality;

• Ability to learn fast and good research;

• Ability to learn and apply technology software;

• Having good time management capacity, commitment to high, hard -working, careful and meticulous work;

• Love the education industry and have the desire to develop projects to promote education on a large scale, understand the perspective of teachers and students;

• Experienced candidate priority uses technology/application software to compile Math materials (Microsoft Office, Geogebra, etc.) or programming and text format languages ​​(Latex, MathType, etc.);

• Priority for candidates who are knowledgeable about Khan Academy (educational philosophy, foundation and content characteristics, etc.).
