Out of the 8 competing teams, there are 3 new rookies: Germany, America & China, who are unknowns and will create many surprises for this year's festival, and 3 teams: France, Finland & Italy, respectively. champions of festivals held in 2023, 2019 & 2018.
On the first 4 nights of competition, these teams will be drawn to compete against each other. The 2 teams with the highest scores will be selected to compete in the final night. During each competition night, each team has 20-22 minutes to present their performance according to their own theme chosen by the judges.
The location for the fireworks display is located on the west bank of the Han River, right at the Da Nang marina on Bach Dang street. Opposite this shooting point, across the river is the east bank of the Han River, a grandstand will be built for tourists to watch on Tran Hung Dao street.
