On June 30, the Organizing Committee of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2024 announced the names of 2 fireworks teams in the final, after 4 nights of competition from 8 teams around the world.
Based on the points scored by the jury through the qualifying rounds and the evaluation opinions of consulting units, the Finnish and Chinese teams became the two best teams competing in the DIFF 2024 finals.
This is considered the most "unbelievable" result in this year's DIFF because Finland and China are two "rivals" who just competed at the final qualifying night on the evening of June 29. This confrontation was also described as "the early finale", and has now come true.
Mr. Tran Chi Cuong, Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee also conducted a draw to divide the performance order. Accordingly, the Chinese team is the first team to perform and the Finnish team will perform next.
In the 2024 DIFF season, the champion team will receive a reward worth 20,000 USD with a trophy and certificate, and the runner-up team will receive a reward worth 10,000 USD with a trophy and certificate.
This year, the prize for the most favorite team (voted by the audience) will be a reward of 5,000 USD and a certificate. In particular, with unique and creative performances from the competing teams, the Organizing Committee decided to add a creativity award with a reward of 5,000 USD.
DIFF 2024 is a competition of 8 teams from the United States, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, China and host Vietnam.
Over 4 dramatic nights of competition, each team showed off their own techniques and identities, creating impressive performances.
The final night of DIFF 2024 with the theme "Future Pulse" will take place on the evening of July 13, with the heroic competition of the two best teams, promising to bring a light show beyond expectations, Closing the 12th DIFF season, Da Nang has "shined" in recent times.

On the first 4 nights of competition, these teams will be drawn to compete against each other. The 2 teams with the highest scores will be selected to compete in the final night. During each competition night, each team has 20-22 minutes to present their performance according to their own theme chosen by the judges.

The location for the fireworks display is located on the west bank of the Han River, right at the Da Nang marina on Bach Dang street. Opposite this shooting point, across the river is the east bank of the Han River, a grandstand will be built for tourists to watch on Tran Hung Dao street.
